Design & Theater Research

In collaboration with Isis Fahmi and Benoit Renaudin, I present the results of my research work, The Raven Point of View, which examines Theatre creation emerging from design practice. I also present the SkinSpecies masks that focus on the underlying subject of this research capsule: the profound revision of our split with nature for a sustainable future. SkinSpecies allow to reconvene the time of myth among the indigenous peoples where all living beings are intermingled without exception with nature. This project is the result of an unbridled and pluralistic practice of design that can guide the field of theatre in many perspectives. Objects with high performative potential, the SkinSpecies invites the theatre to reclaim them and to embody them in a performance delivering its transfigured message.
